Gorsuch-Mitchell papers
This collection contains the papers of the Gorsuch and Mitchell families of "Retreat Farm," Baltimore County, Maryland. The collection consists of estate papers, including financial, legal and land records. The collection also contains diaries, medical account books, correspondence, and documents related to enslaved individuals. Other families represented include Bowen, Stansbury, Ensor, Merryman, and Matthews.
Greene papers
H. H. Chapman account book
Ledger kept by Henry H. Chapman, from 1794-1821, showing purchases made for services performed for numerous persons in return for shares of tobacco and wheat crops. Among accounts are: Dr. John Chapman's estate, Samuel Jones' estate, Daniel of St. Thomas Jenifer, McDonough Charity School, Richard R. Swann, etc.
Hall collection
This collection consists of two ledgers belonging to the partnership Ridgely and Goodwin, a letterbook belonging to the firm Goodwin and Russell, an account book which seems also to belong to Goodwin and Russell, and another account book which may or may not be related to the other two firms.

The Hammer account books contains financial and administrative information for Frederick Hammer of Baltimore, a German merchant in dry goods.

Hawkins collection
Hoopper account books
The Hoopper account books are two volumes that contain information on S. Steuart Hoopper's salary and investment income and detailed monthly expenditures for rent, food, clothing, utilities and fuel, medicine, trips, and other topics. Of particular note are Hoopper's wedding expenses in 1910, Christmas gift lists, and fees for his daughter's tonsillectomy from 1919.
